I recently purchased a property through Harcourts – Sergeant and was disappointment at the unprofessional conduct of Jayne Tozer. She has no regard for the rights of the purchaser which left me unable to access my property until 24 hrs after settlement. Had she followed the correct procedure the additional stress she caused to myself and the vendor could have been avoided. She knowingly allowed the vendors to remove expensive fixtures from the property after I had signed the contract and refuses to return the original fixture or replace it for equal value. Terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend purchasing a property through Jayne or Harcourts Sergeant.
Our experience with Jayne was amazing from start to finish. Jayne didn't have to help us when we first met her but she did. She went out of her way to give us knowledge around area's and properties we were looking at even if it wasn't hers. Jayne even took the time to come help us out an Auction to support us through it and be our bidder, which was not successful. From being in our previous home for 19years we were finding it all daunting and especially finding a property within a short space of time. Jayne took us under her wing guided us and took the stress out of it. She made it more enjoyable and exciting to look. Showed us places we wouldn't have thought to look one being Stockwell. All 3 of us fell in love with the country town and house. So we placed an offer on Jayne's property which made it even more special after all her help and guidance. Jayne was always genuine and honest with us and very reliable. Her communication was always open no matter what time of day it was. We first approached Jayne at the back end of last year when my wife & I first considered putting our property on the market. Jayne came to see us for an appraisal & we kind of left it at that, we didn’t feel it was quite the right time. We became serious about selling in February this year & we went back to Jayne without hesitation as we felt extremely comfortable that the knowledge Jayne had with Williamstown we could leave it alone & let Jayne do what she does best, find us a purchaser. To be fair it was not a long time on the market & Jayne secured a purchaser quite quickly. The next big test was to find something for us & line up all the legalities of settlements & exchanges. In my view & opinion Jayne did this with aplomb. We would not hesitate to use Jayne again or recommend Jayne to our friends & family.
