The team who assisted us from Starr Partners Campbelltown started off fine. During the cooling off period, there was no problem with communication. I was getting phone calls from Elton and Bruce up to 3x a day to confirm that I would be paying the deposit by the end of the cooling off period. However, after the deposit had been paid, there was no communication at all. I was not informed until 2 business days before completion date that there would be an extension. Hence, I was not able to re-organize work commitments causing myself to be unavailable for the handing over of keys and moving in. Jeff Thompson rang me and my solicitor 2 business days before the initial completion to inform us of the extension. He was quite rude to my solicitor over the phone and said he didn't care about the inconvenience the late notification caused us. There was absolutely no understanding for our part as he only took the vendor's side the whole time (he mentioned he just wanted to get his money anyway). I understand situations like these are quite common. I only asked that they inform us ahead of time so we can also adjust our schedule. They have been well aware that the vendor will be asking for extension but did not inform me or my solicitor. Jeff Thompson was rude, unprofessional, lacked customer service, and handled the situation very poorly.
