As most vendors do, You invite a few agents to inspect your property & advise you accordingly discussing current value, marketing, commission, home presentation etc. As an undisclosed "Retired Real Estate Licensee" I was critical in my selection for the following reasons: 1. Comparable sales in an area can reflect the approximate worth of a property, their knowledge was well researched. 2. I liked the fact that they are a "family business" of long standing. 3. Their marketing strategies were refreshingly different & within similar costs to others. 4. Commission; A determining factor for many. They were in fact higher than other agents. However the important concern for me was the "NET" result to me after commission & as it turns out, their excellent marketing strategy achieved that. ( someone once told me not worry about what the other person gets providing you get what you want). I have no hesitation of recommending their services if you want great results.
