Initially I contacted Jess when my late Aunty died and she came to the unit - and we discussed how to approach fixing up the unit to get the best return when we were ready to sell. She was very open and professional and related other experiences in selling similar properties - so that gave us a starting point and a price range for the property.
Then 4 months later she rang me and asked how things were going and we were up to putting down carpeting and vinyl, after painting the whole unit. So we had a meeting and she came armed with a list of similar properties in the local area that were selling or had sold and the pricing and we discussed a price range for the property. Jess also encouraged me to take on board all the marketing advertising available - photos, visual furniture and internet links, saying that this gave the most exposure. She also said that genuine buyers would make offers at about 30 days on the market and that was proven to be true!
Jess is an enthusiastic, bubbly, genuine personality and a professional. She was very knowledgable about property market and easily related trends especially inrelation to our one bedroom unit, eg. it would only attract a certain clientele. She was very good at keeping me updated with openings at the unit and feed back from clients; and emailed me statistics, hits on the internet and so on. To the point where I said that I didn't need everything related back to me. I was happy to leave everything in her hands. And so we spoke regularly but I didn't feel overwhelmed with information. Jess gave suggestions that helped me not get too pedantic - wanting to have everything perfect in the unit. Very helpful!
I was very happy with the way she handled potential buyers, ridiculous bids and negotiated a very good price for the unit. She worked very had for us and I felt that the $ price was fair and very good for us. Thank you for your professionalism and honesty Jess.
