Jess communicated well through the whole process of selling. I was overseas when the property became vacant which I thought may have been a problem however Jess kept me regularly informed by email. This meant work needing to be done on the house prior to selling was well under way before my return. Rather than simply allocating an auctioneer for the sale, Jess encouraged me to observe a number of auctioneers in order to select the person who I was most comfortable with and thought would do the best job. This was very worthwhile and resulted in a much higher price than the reserve. I felt comfortable with Jess and the auctioneer and at no time felt pressured in setting the reserve. Jess provided welcome advice about staging the empty property which changed it from a group of empty rooms to a home showing all its potential. When a council notice was received the day before the auction Jess dealt with the conveyancer to make last minute alterations to the contract and then contacted all parties who had shown interest in the property to inform them. She has also organized for a quote from a builder to undertake the work required by council. Overall it has been a pleasure dealing with Jess. She has been extremely helpful with all areas related to the sale of my property.
