Thoughtful, generous & wise with a deep knowledge and skill base.
Jo was introduced to us by Peter Thompson, together we put together a plan and strategy to reluctantly sell our family home of 70 + years on behalf of our mother, whose health had deteriorated to the point of needing full time care in an aged care facility. From the onset of our discussions Jo was caring and understanding of our situation and the emotion of the job before us... sorting through all mums ( and dads ) belongings including furniture, clothing, personal treasures and so much more ! and then preparing the home for sale.
I cannot lie ! it was hard, and as there are 5 daughters, getting together was difficult, however, Jo was patient and kept in touch with us while also enquiring after mum. These personal touches were so meaningful in our difficult situation.
When it came time to sign papers, organise signage, photos, open dates and conveyancer - Jo walked us through the process as if we were her only client at that time ( I know we were not !). Giving us confidence that nothing was being missed. Jo was also available to us all the time whether by txt, email or phone, Jo answered immediately or very soon after would get back to us.
Following the first open we received the first of several offers, one of which - although we didn't know at the time, turned out to be THE sale. So after just a couple of opens we were spared the trauma of an Auction ( as we saw it ) and we were ecstatic at the offer we later were to accept. Jo also liaised with the new owners after the sale regarding some furniture which was surplus and this enabled us to not have to worry about the details of removal of the same.
A genuine, authentic and lovely woman had an impact of positivity and strength on that season in our lives as difficult as it was and we also have a new friend in Jo Lerche. We sincerely thank you Jo.
