Joanne was a pleasure to deal with. Set realistic expectations in a changing real estate market for my area. She was very communicative about the process and tried her best to get the best price. She shows genuine care for her clients specific needs and has a very caring persona.

Joanne attended our home approximately 18 months before we were ready to put the house on the market, although we did advise we were looking at selling, we had to finish renovations first. Over the next 18 months we had numerous agents come and go asking if we were selling, none of them were seen or heard from again. Joanne however would randomly pop in or send a Christmas card just to say hi and how's it all going, just to keep in contact, but never ever pushy or demanding until finally 18 months later we were done and ready to sell. She took what ever time was needed to fully explain the process, gave a very intricate description of what was occurring in the current market within our specific area and gave numerous examples to back up her suggestions. although she knew the market and gave extremely good reasons for what ever she suggested, she made it quite clear that the final decision was ours and she would do what ever we requested. I have personally bought and sold three houses now over the past 15 years using a different agent each time, and I have never in all my time found someone who is so dedicated and went well and truly above and beyond to gain us the best possible price for our property. Joanne's marketing went much further than simply advertising, she would be making calls on her days off, giving us updates on a very regular basis, rescheduling her appointments and finish times to fit in with perspective buyers who wished to view our property but couldn't make the usual Saturday inspection. This would often mean she would call and enquire if it would be ok with us to come in the afternoon during the week etc, but always the choice was ours and her dedication could not have been more obvious. Finally the auction arrived and thanx to Joanne and her auctioneer, we sold our house for an extremely unexpected amount. We know this was only possible because of Joanne and would recommend both her and the whole Mc Grath team to anyone without hesitation :)
