Jodie was the only real estate agent that we contacted in Dubbo and we did contact a few, that said, to try and sell our house with the tenants still there. It has been a decision that we did not take lightly to have to sell our property made even more difficult by the fact that we are not locals. We have owned this house for a considerable amount of time and the current tenants have been there for over 10 years. We thought obviously, who could not see through the clutter of having 3 children(1 in primary school and the other 2 little ones at home) and what the potential of the house was to turn it into their home. 90 days notice to the tenants and then the selling process all adds up. So we said, lets try with the tenants in situ. Jodie guided us to what we agreed was a fair market price that met our expectations. She had the first open day with 11 groups viewing the house. 2 groups were interested and two and a half weeks later we had exchanged contracts. What a fantastic result by Jodie and her team for us.
