We went to auction right out of a Covid lockdown, on a Tuesday night (twilight auction) 3 days before Christmas and it was pouring rain. My brother doubted we'd even be able to sell! When we pulled up and saw the big crowd of people who'd turned up in that weather I started to get excited. Joe assured me that we would sell and we'd get a good result. We sold alright and we got an amazing result!! Joe had really done all of this so well, there was a great mix of bidders, support from his team of agents and his auctioneer style was fantastic. He knows the area so well and was able to keep on selling the best points of the house and the area while the bids were coming in.
