I was happy to sell our home through Joel Hollings and Mc Grath Real Estate from the history I've had with selling my first house with Joel 12 years prior, and the success he had with my first sale. Looking at the positive sales results in Kings Langley that Mc Grath Real Estate has achieved over the past 6 months was another reason to sell with them. Joel had advised to team up with Kim Mcleary from Parramatta Mc Grath Real Estate as she knows the Kings Langley market really well. To be honest I was frustrated with the Auction approach which I was advised to go with to sell our home as I have never liked the idea of an Auction for buying or selling. So I had to trust in giving Mc Grath Real estate to go with their professional advise to campaign the sale of our home. I eventually understood the Auction process and the Auction date creates a deadline and urgency of sale. I was more frustrated in the declining housing price market that we were in trying to sell a home was quite stressful, especially when we had already committed to buying our new home weeks prior. I see this as a educational exercise in the real estate game, and timing is absolutely everything. As I once thought weeks to months can effect change in real estate prices it actually can come down to days even hours it some situations with other Auctions occurring on the same day as yours. In the end we achieved a far result of sale price for our home, and as the weeks have gone by looking at similar properties around our house that have sold for less is some what reassuring. I cant fault the effort and commitment that was put into selling our home from Mc Grath Real Estate, and we really appreciate the whole team coming together and working hard as a team to get the results that we were striving for.
