John came across as really charismatic when we first engage him and Zoli Pataki to sell our property in Botany, but entire process wasn't smooth sailing as we expect it to be. During one of phase when we were negotiating the sales price, our pet passed away and were at the vet's for an emergency, but he kept hounding us with phone calls and wanted to come see us, it would seem he cared more about closing a deal versus understanding what we were going through at that time. On another occasion, when we were having a meeting with him to discuss a contract and deliberated for a bit, he blasted at my partner for wasting his time and that cause my partner to break down and cry. John also persuaded us to have our property on auction, and he trusted his judgement and expertise, but in the end, it did not deliver the results. The auction was a waste of $500 for 10mins of action with no bids. John also negotiated and amended the sales contract prior to our consent (or solicitor) with potential buyers in order to negotiated a deal, while we appreciated his effort, it would be better had he advise us before making changes. In the end, after weeks of stress and anxiety, we finally sold our property for well below the expected price of what he had appraised for.
