Not very friendly agent to have a deal with once signed the contract also kept things hidden from us

Things were kept hidden from us as soon we moved in the house the aircons stopped working, upon asking him we were told to get an aircon tradie at our cost. Aircons were showing same error before the contract was signed and we were assured that it is a minor fault which autocorrects when the powersupply is once turned off, but the aircon tradie told us that these aircons are not working and we have to replace them.
