Professional and Reliable

Having found a home we wanted to buy, John helped to bring our existing home quickly to market and through his extensive contact list, secured a number of record-breaking offers within days. Courteous, honest, friendly and reliable sums up John as a person, but it was his honed negotiation skills that we appreciated the most and which resulted in a fantastic result for our family.

Brilliant sale

On behalf of my elderly parents, I had to sell their house quickly as they had entered nursing homes and money was required to pay dad's deposit. I contacted John because he had impressed my mother when giving a valuation some years earlier. He was on holidays, but in the local area, and came straight away. During his holidays he organised the advertising, signage and contacted prospective buyers, and our house was open for the first selling weekend of the year. About eight couples saw the house on that day, we got an offer within two days and the house was sold three days after the open house, for considerably more than we had expected. And an early settlement was agreed, which meant we could pay the nursing home deposit in time. John had a brilliant knowledge of the market and buyers. He kept me informed every step of the way so that the whole process was smooth and not stressful. He also kept in touch with my parents so they felt included. As I was packing up, clearing out and cleaning a house with 50 years of possessions, it meant a lot to me to have that kind of peace of mind. John made everything easy and certainly demonstrated how right I was to have confidence in him. If I has another Wollongong property to sell I'd go straight to John.

Smooth process

John negotiated the sale for our unit in Wollongong while we remained in our home in Melbourne. John communicated well with us throughout the process, and was open to our feedback and input. We got a price we were happy with, and on the top end of what two other agents had appraised the unit so I'm confident I got the best price possible by entrusting John with the sale. Would confidently recommend John and Daniel for sales in the Illawarra.

An excellent experience

John sold our property in October 2015. The experience was great and John was professional throughout the sale, keeping us informed of progress and negotiations. If you are selling your property, talk to John, his industry knowledge is outstanding and it will be a present experience.

King Laurence Morgan

Where do we start with these two hard working fellas. It certainly can be very difficult to find a good agent that puts the owner's best interests first and that's exactly what we received with John and Daniel selling our home. Selling our home of 8 years was always going to be an emotional roller coaster and the boys did a fantastic job in keeping everyone calm and relaxed. One of our pet hates in the past is agents giving you very little feed back on weekend results. This was never a problem with Laurence Morgan. We are sure there are some very good agents out there, however I wanted the best agent and that's what we got. Awesome result and I would highly recommend speaking to John and Daniel before going with any other agent.

The sale of our lovely family home

This was our first experience of selling a home at auction, and John truly made the experience a memorable one. Going to sale at auction was new territory for us, and John walked us through the process step by step. He explained in detail his approach, and also gave us wonderful feedback and suggestions on the home and it's presentation. Much to our surprise, our property created quite a buzz in the area, with huge numbers of buyers and locals looking through the open houses. We also drew a big crowd on auction day, and much to our complete and utter shock, we sold the house at a considerable amount above reserve. Of course, now that we have seen John's approach and skills in the industry, we do not put this down to luck in any sense. John worked considerably hard for our very healthy sale. He treated this sale like it was his own investment. He is by far, the most professional, reliable and trustworthy agent we have used. He's honest and realistic, but also looks outside the square in order to obtain the best result possible. If you truly want to select an agent that is going to give it their absolute all, then John in your agent, no question.

Investment sale in a new area

Thanks to John and Daniel, we were able to make our first sale in a new area without any dramas. Of course, they exceeded our expectations once again. The advice and guidance given by John and his team is very much appreciated. We have developed a very strong business relationship and we feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with an agent who consistently puts in 100% effort in every job. John and Daniel are always so easy to get in touch with, and they provide detailed updates throughout each stage of the sale. No details are missed. Their enthusiasm for the property and their role as the agent is rare these days. They both truly have our best interests at heart. Thanks again John and Daniel.

Sale off the plan

This house was an unexpected sale off the plan. We originally planned to sell the property after construction, however listing with John O'Reilly means efficiency and dedication. There was no way this property was going to sit on the market long being listed through them. We had thought we would just 'test the market and see who was interested' prior to finishing the project, however this sale exceeded our expectations so much so, that we couldn't say no. Thanks again to you both for another job well done.

Breaking records

This house was a tough sell, but John O'Reilly got the sale over the line. The location of the property was the challenging part of the sale, however this didn't faze John or Daniel, and they managed to sell the property at a price which broke records in the area. This property sold at the highest price for the area. Thank you John and Daniel for all your hard work.

Above and beyond

Hands down, the best experience in real estate we have ever had. John and Daniel went above and beyond in every aspect of the sale of our home. They witnessed all the blood, sweat and tears that went into building this property, and they put just as much effort into the marketing and sale aspect. I wouldn't trust anyone else with the sale of our biggest asset. They displayed innovative ideas and approaches for marketing, and they showed patience and professionalism when dealing with ourselves as well as the buyers. If you want 100% effort in the sale of your home, you only really have one option, and that is Laurence Morgan.
