With a career that started as a business broker in 1997, John Paras brings deep-seated commercial expertise, hands-on leadership experience, and a passion for helping clients succeed at every stage of their property journey.
He lives in Mascot and enjoys walking his dog, hosting big family BBQs and loves sharing a great cup of coffee with good company. He is also a devoted husband and dad to two amazing kids.

John, a former Principal of Raine & Horne Kensington, sold the business over a decade ago and then took on senior sales management roles, creating high-performing teams in sales and property management.
Now entrenched at Raine & Horne Double Bay/ Bondi Beach, John is spearheading the growth of the office’s commercial division while also working across development sites and select residential opportunities.
John has managed and leased assets for major clients such as Commonwealth Bank, Anglicare, Subway, and Dulux and is equally at home supporting self-managed super fund investors and long-term mum-and-dad investors.
John’s success is driven by repeat business and long-standing client relationships, many of which date back to his earliest days in real estate. At the heart of his approach, is his desire to always help others. He finds genuine joy in supporting his clients and mentoring fellow real estate agents—many of whom regularly seek his advice.
Having managed offices and built successful teams, John enjoys every facet of the real estate industry. For him, when you love what you do, it never really feels like work.
