From the first meetings with David and John Taylor, the professionalism of this team comprising David the auctioneer, his brother John Taylor who arranged and oversaw the advertising and inspections, and David’s son Tim Taylor who looked after all the post-sale arrangements, was obvious. The team operates like a well-oiled machine and not a detail is overlooked in maximising the potential outcome of the auction. We could not have been in better hands, and the auction itself was a most memorable occasion with the result exceeding expectations by a large amount. This was no doubt due to the professional preparation and attention to detail by John in the lead-up to the auction, and to David’s unique talents and vast experience in the theatre of the auction itself. David’s instinctive timing in the conduct of the auction was breathtaking to watch (or listen to, for those nervous sellers listening to proceedings from out of sight). We are very grateful to the team of David, John and Tim Taylor and our only regret is that we don’t imagine having another property to watch them sell for us for some time to come.
