Dependable, trustworthy, impressive

We first met John at an open house and were very impressed with the way he handled the inspections and the follow up of information required. Therefore when we needed to sell our house we called in John and Priscilla Ouvrier to set up a sales plan. We had a meeting 2 days later and they had the house styled and ready to go. John is a very dependable and trustworthy agent & I could not recommend him highly enough and getting a quick sale of seven days and a great price was certainly a bonus.

Professional, organised and highly competent agent to work with

John was open and transparent when taking into consideration the interests of both parties in the sale of this specific property. He was efficient in informing us on the status of the sale process, providing regular updates as to the situation and perspective of the vendor. The ability to openly discuss in an informal manner is what made the purchase a smooth transaction. His experience in the industry is clearly evident in practice. We chose to use his team to then lease the property given there expertise in the area.

Exceptional

There really are no words that do justice to John’s level of service, market insight and knowledge of purchaser behaviour / thought processes. Over the course of more than 9 years, John provided me with market intel and advice on a possible sale of my property. Never with any pressure, always with independence and incredible insight. When it came time to sell my property, I always felt like I was John’s only client and I believed (and still do) that what drove John during (and before and after) the campaign, were my best interests alone. Together with his knowledge of buyer behaviour (which was on display throughout the campaign but particularly so whilst he was negotiating with the eventual purchasers) and what seemed like a boundless knowledge of the local market, I firmly believe his efforts secured a sale price no other agent would have been able to. In a challenging campaign, for reasons beyond John’s control, John went beyond the call of duty - stepping in and getting involved in matters well beyond the scope of his duties as selling agent (including calling builders and liaising with the strata management company). Nothing was too much trouble, even when John was required to send emails and take calls late into the evenings (on more than one occasion, late Saturday evenings). As a professional, I know a thing or two about client servicing and I set lofty expectations of service providers - for the reasons set out above (and many others) John exceeded all expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending him to those looking to sell in the lower north shore.
