Having worked with John and his agency for over 20 years renting my apartment it made sense to put the sale in his very capable hands. Living overseas I needed someone I could trust. From the first I met John to assess his suitability as a potential sales agent, I was impressed. He has great knowledge of that part of the city, the complex which housed my property, the sales history of units in the building, the strata management - the lot. He came prepared with photos of units he had sold in the same building, prices obtained and references. He has a well developed network of contractors, tradesmen, conveyancing lawyers and accountants. During my dealings with him, John’s communication, follow up and guidance through the renovation and sales process was outstanding. John handled everything and handled it very professionally. I quickly came to the conclusion that if I gave John guidance as to my goals, listened to his recommendations, then got out of his way and let him work with his team, that I’d have the best chance of reaching those goals. It worked that way, spectacularly so! The renovation of the unit was completed in very short order, managed well for a beautiful result then sold at auction at a price which was an all-time record for a unit in that building complex! When i was ready to sell he responded to my requests very promptly, professionally and his advice and guidance was wonderful, even though i have previously sold many properties. I requested two detailed quotes on price, how to market, timing etc, and his was far superior to the other who responded only partially and slowly. Overall John achieved a great result, communicated very well, organized for me a few necessary repairs and introduced me to a great Valuer for my CGT valuation. The sale price was what i wanted, only about 10 days on market and 35 days to settle achieving a great result in 45 days. I highly recommend John Zheng.
