Everything went well with the purchase of my new home. The only negative being the the yards didn't get attended to for the 30 day settlement period and when I asked if they could be done, the Johnny Lin team refused.

We first met Johnny back in 2009 when we bought our house from him. Back then he was just starting his career but he obviously left a lasting impression on us because we always thought if we were to sell he would be the first person we would call. Living in Fitzgibbon for the past 12 years it's been noticeable how Johnny's business has grown and he has become the number 1 agent in the area. So when we decided in early 2021 it was time to upsize we got in contact with Johnny and he and his team (Katie and Ly) came to do an appraisal and within a few hours we had a very comprehensive report on market conditions in the area. As it turned out due to us ultimately purchasing a tenanted property we didn't end up listing until December once we could move into our new house but in the meantime Johnny kept in regular contact and even tried to help us find a place to buy if he saw anything come up that he thought we might like. One thing that stands out during that time is that when we found the house we ultimately bought I texted Johnny to ask how much he thought we should offer and he rang me to give me some guidance and perspective on handling a multiple offer situation as a buyer. Bearing in mind we had not signed up to sell with him at this point. Another thing that stands out is that Johnny and his team went above and beyond with the little things like doing a vacuum when needed and taking the bins out for us as we were no longer living in the property. As for the sale itself, the house was ready at breakneck speed, looked fantastic and we are very happy with the outcome. Our expectations of price even in the current market were well exceeded and we achieved a result that was unimaginable at the start of the year.
