Johnson and his team are great people, lovely, friendly, easy to deal with, and a good selling strategy. But, if I had my time to do it again I wouldn't use an agent. For the cost and the very little they did, I should've done it myself. We had a reasonably nice house, that in a hot market was an easy sell. Yet it still cost almost $20,000, for probably 20 hours work + incidentals. The marketing costs are paid for separately by me, so its the labour costs etc from the agents commission. So, thats about $1000 per hour. And no one is that nice to warrant $1000 per hour. Nothing personal, as I said, great people, great strategy, more my view of agents and their lack of relevancy in a time where technology is well understood by the masses. I guess we're conditioned to think an agent is required, and in a buyers market, I would agree. In a hot sellers market, which we're in right now, it wasn't value for money, in my opinion. Sorry Johnson, I wouldn't be me if I wasn't brutally honest! But in saying that, to be honest again, if I did need an agent in future I would use him again! Even tho this review may have burnt that bridge lol
