Professional, experienced and a gentleman. Thanks for helping us to a great result John
John is friendly and he always got back to me when I had questions regarding the property we just purchased. We would recommend him as he was highly professional.
Jon has been extremely helpful from his first visit through to the sale of our property. He communicated frequently and in depth after inspections. He has always been positive and encouraging. Definitely a professional and friendly agent.
Buying a house in the North Shore isn’t easy, but when you are fortunate enough to be dealing with Adam Lamb and Jon Dundas-Smith it is the most amazing experience. Thank you for your honesty throughout this process.
Jon has been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout our home sale journey. He is extremely down to earth, practical, and easy to work with, his communication skills are excellent, and he is very knowledgeable about north shore property and real estate in general. His advice was helpful and reliable. We really trusted him, and that trust was paid back many times over with a fantastic auction result for us. In fact, the entire McConnell Bourn team came to support our auction, including the Managing Director, each of them playing a role with the various bidders, and working seamlessly together to secure the result. Their auctioneer, Vic Lorusso also did an outstanding job - we have never seen another auctioneer of equal calibre. We highly recommend Jon Dundas-Smith and the McConnell Bourn team.
Jon is very well organised, efficient in assistance and great communicator.
Owing to circumstances I found myself in, I needed to find an Apartment fairly quickly. Several people helped me achieve this and Jon was one of them. so I can recommend him to anyone. Judith Richards.
Jon`s reputation as a competent real estate professional was confirmed in his handling of our sale. His intimate knowledge of the local scene and conscientious attention to the preparation and execution of a practical marketing plan went a long way towards the successful completion of the sale. Most importantly, he maintained regular contact during the marketing period. Overall, we were very satisfied with the level of service we received and, of course, the ultimate outcome.
I think, Jon is a good real estate agent. He replied to my emails and phone calls in a professional manner. I purchased the house in auction above the market price but I am happy with my purchase and services provided by Jon.
Jon is a skilled and effective agent who we have experienced from bothe seller's and buyer's perspective. No hesitation in recommending him to a prospective seller.
I was aware the sale of my home would not be easy, unless I was desperate to sell and priced it accordingly.. I had a short list of three agents whom I asked for proposals and an opinion of an achievable price. Due to the fact the house itself was a little unusual, I wasn't taken with the idea of the easy path for the agents, being the auction they all prefer. We needed to find people who would truly appreciate the skill of the architect in resolving many difficulties arising from that particular piece of Roseville which was its setting. I approached two of the, so called, 'top rated' agents for the locality, both of whom happened to be female and both of whom also had opinions of price within a thousand dollars of each other, probably by using a formula involving number of bedrooms, bathrooms garage spaces and proximity to Roseville Train Station. I might add, somewhat less than my own expectations. Jon seemed to see merit in the fact that 'Il Ponte' wasn't just a typical Roseville Federation Style bungalow, and discussed the reasons for my own expectations with me. We reached a mutual agreement as to a final price, below which I was not prepared to sell as I had no pressing financial need to do so. We set an ambit asking price and Jon diligently handled the many enquiries until finally he found a woman very taken with the house, partially due to her being confined to a wheel chair, the house is almost completely on one level. An acceptable offer was made and accepted but unfortunately they were unable to raise the finance in the end. A great deal of unrewarded effort went into trying to bring that sale to fruition. Not at all daunted Jon persevered until he found the present couple who appear to very much understand the delights of the house and the setting in which it discretely exists. At all times Jon kept me informed and acted with good humour, even when I teased him. I'd be pleased to use Jon again and recommend him as an agent of skill and reliability.
