- Lied when I bought the property saying it will never fall below $1M - Charged me an extra $10k when I bought the property for no good reason which I only found out when I went to sell the property. - Took approximatly 5 months for him to sell the property costing us thousands in Interest. - Poor ability to control the transaction causing us not to recieve of deposit in time for cooling off period - I had someone come through from the street and let them have a look at the propermty myself, they offered $35k above the offer Jonathan could get me and were ready to sign on the spot without an agent but doing what I thought was the right thing I let Jonathan handle it and he was not able to convert the sale. - He allowed the current buyer to breach contract on multiple occasions including allowing him to access the backyard and cut trees and have access inside the property post signing contracts for measuring and fitouts when we specifically said no and were still using the property for our own personal use and paying a mortgage on it. - Poor knowledge of the house, he did not sell key features such as having a heated pool that could be used all year round. - Delayed settlement as he did not know how to turn on the airconditioner, sauna and pool light and told the buyer they were not working. All of which were working - Agreed to waive/reduce marketing cost as he used 95% of the original videos and photos from the previous listing when we bought the property from him a year earlier however still charged us at settlement. He offered to send a copy of our contract which he never did, also offered to send a copy of the fees he paid for marketing which he never did after promising to do so 3 times. Why even offer to do it if you cant deliver? - Overpromised and under delivered on multiple occasion. - Please ask him about his famous catchfrase; 'Buyers Are ....' Highly recommend using another agent
I would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. He is personable, timely, honest, transparent and was extremely patient with us and our many requests as to what we wanted in our purchase. We had a very specific checklist in terms of needs and wants from our purchase and Jonathan was patient in working with us and showing us through many properties that met our requirements, until we found "the one". He is professional, has a great sense of humor, listened to what we wanted and spent the time getting to know us (most importantly we were not just another "number" to him, we were his clients.) From initial inspection to post-settlement, he has always been available to us if required via phone or text(on Sundays and his days off). His service is top notch and we did not find that same level of service whilst in our research phase - hence the choice to work with and purchase from him.
