In early 2022 we were contacted by Jonny, who had a number of buyers interested in purchasing a quality family home in Hillarys. We had commenced construction of a new home about a year earlier and intended to put our Hillarys home on the market later in the year, when our new home would be nearing completion. After discussing the state of the market, the willingness of potential buyers to secure quality properties in a very popular suburb, our target price expectations, and agreeing a competitive sellers’ commission, we agreed to Jonny showing a handful of buyers through our home within a few days of his initial contact. Within a further few days of this private inspection we had multiple offers on the table, and accepted one of those towards the top end of our asking price with a ten-month settlement period to allow time for our new home to be completed. No long sales campaign; no expensive marketing costs; no constant home opens – a perfect outcome enabling us to focus on our new home build, knowing we had an unconditional contract for our home. The time from meeting Jonny to having a signed sale contract was a total of less than 10 days!
