During the final stages of negotiating the price, Josh mentioned another buyer had made a higher offer, which felt like a strategy to push us to meet the seller’s demands. While I understand his priority is the seller and avoiding auction, the way it was handled didn’t sit right. A more transparent approach—simply stating the seller’s expectations—would have been more professional. P.S. I apologize if I misjudged the situation, and what Josh said was in fact true. But I guess we’ll never know…
