I bought a house through Josh, so this review is based on that. Having bought and sold numerous homes, I always look at how well an agent can sell me a home, as I assess whether they will get my business when I sell next time. I made an online inquiry and Josh got back to me promptly. I have made numerous online inquiries for other properties previously with agent's not even bothering to respond. Note above - I would not sell through them in the future. I inspected the house during the open home on a Saturday and emailed Josh on a Sunday evening to advise I would like to make an offer. I did not think he would respond given it was a Sunday evening, however Josh replied immediately which I greatly appreciated as my house had just gone under contract and needed to have something in place ASAP. I emailed Josh the details required for a contract and met him and Sean the following morning to sign the contract. I appreciated them both coming to my work place in order to sign the contract as I was unable to get to their office during the day. They also attended my house that evening in regards to the negotiation process. Again, I appreciated the fact they attended at a later time (around 7pm) in order to have my counter signed and hopefully a done deal - which was accepted that night by the seller. Josh and I have remained in contact since my purchase as I have renovated the whole house. Knowing Josh was a former builder, I asked him for an external house painter as I was having issues finding a reputable one. Josh promptly provided me with a house painter contact who has since done the paint job and his services were prompt and professional, so I am grateful Josh was able to assist with this as well. Josh has also showed a continued interest in the renovations I had done and inspected the house for an appraisal. In short, Josh is prompt, professional and has your interests as a seller and can still have a positive working relationship with the buyer.
As first time Home Buyers it was great to have Josh's support throughout the whole process, even though we had plenty of barriers to jump across Josh was able to keep his Client updated & get the result we all wanted come Settlement Day. Josh goes above & beyond to sell or buy a property for you. He was knowledgeable about the property we were looking at & if he didn't have the answer would get back to us promptly. We met Josh at an open house in Shailer Park. The house didn't suit us but Josh listened to our requirements and suggested we look at an almost completed spec home at Cornubia. Our drive-by of the house didn't excite us and when the boss called us for a follow up we said we weren't interested for a number of reasons. The boss must have told Josh who was able to address our concerns and convince us to have a look inside the house, which was actually not too bad. He calmly showed us through and made helpful suggestions and we were pretty much sold. Because it was unfinished. we had a few extra requirements and Josh negotiated these with the builder for a very reasonable price; we didn't have to deal with the builder at all. During the six weeks to complete the contract, Josh kept us up to date and must have been pushing the builder because everything was ready at settlement despite the three week Christmas construction industry break. So we're very happy in our new house and very grateful for Josh's persistence and calmness.
Josh was a fantastic help throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble, always easy to get in contact with whether by phone or txt message (which was a huge help for me with the hours I work). Josh made things easy to understand, explained the process and made everything flow smoothly without being pushy or annoying like some other agents. I have already recommended him to family members looking to sell in the near future and I would most definitely purchase a house through him again.
