Judy Truong
I was in the property market for over a year before I met Judy, and over a year after I met her I settled on a property I had been watching. Judy ended up with the sale by being an excellent broker between seller and buyer; although she represented her properties well she made me feel like she was my agent, not the seller's. When circumstances arose or I told her that I was waiting for the market to drop further, she laid off the hard sell but kept me appraised of developments at the properties I had shown interest in, and kept me engaged with the market and specifically her properties. Other agents brushed me off from lowball offers and didn't treat me like a serious buyer, despite my accurate understanding of the markets in the area. Judy took everything in stride because unlike the other agents, Judy saw that I was being thorough. As a first-time buyer, buying a property is one of the more serious developments in your life, but other agents treated me like the guy kicking tires in a used car lot. I would go so far as to say their willingness to ignore me cost them sales. From dismissive comments like "that property will never sell for that price" (sure, but it wasn't going for the asking price, either) to "yeah, I've got some cheapos I can show you" (no thanks, bud, don't want to muddy your shoes with my middle-class purchasing power) I learned quickly that selling houses may be some people's job but it's certainly not their profession. Judy had more than just one sales tactic and was willing and able to do the work to get the sale. She saw that I was truly in the market to buy, and kept me engaged. That's service to your sellers. I could have bought any number of properties from any seller if the deal was right. Judy made sure it was one of hers, and at the very top of my price range to boot. If you're selling and you want someone who can really represent your property (not just in a seller's market where the homes sell themselves), get Judy.
