We contacted Hicks Real Estate after seeing one of their recent townhouse sales that was similar to ours. Justin visited our property and made some suggestions on how we could prepare for sale. He shared his knowledge and explained reasons why ours might not sell for as much but also shared some qualities that our home had. During this initial meeting Justin was friendly, genuine and interested in both selling the home, but also the relationship and getting to know who we were as a family. We had to hold off selling for about 4mths after speaking with our bank. When we were ready to sell Justin's knowledge, friendly nature, and skill at what he does really shined. The team explained the various options incl staging, marketing and photo costs as well as the pros and cons of off-market listing. We felt comfortable with Justin and his trustworthy nature to share our three preferred offers. Hicks Real Estate organised an inspection within less then a week of us signing with them, and later that week we accepted an offer that was higher then our original ideal price. Although we accepted before going to market, looking at recent sales we are beyond happy with the offer. Justin was quick at replies and easy to communciate with. Even while he was on holidays, the team kept in communication and Justin gave a great handover as i didnt have to relay anything with the rest of the team in his absence. Justin helped us to connect with some local trades (which was great as previously I was getting a lot of pushback and 5 week delays). During the contract period Justin and his team helped to communicate between buyer and ourselves so the buyers had some input to the cosmetic upgrades that were organised in preparation for going to market (e.g. carpet colour and wall painting).
