Sold our late Mum's house in Albion in May 2023. Having got appraisals from three agents a bit earlier, we thought their estimates were either too high or too low - either way, they were too far apart for us to be confident that any were right, and all three had differing opinions on how much work would be required to get the property ready for sale. One of them didn't even follow up while we were deciding, just added us to his mailing list so we could see the three properties he had for sale on his roster!! On contacting Justin, we found him very friendly, approachable and engaging without the insincere shtick most agents go with. With Justin being a local and having a broader understanding of not just real estate, but housing construction as well, I found he was less concerned with coming across as some back-slapping hot shot salesman, and just focused on getting the job done efficiently and honestly. Given that I was also buying using the proceeds of the sale, Justin also provided some pointers on the buying process, which was extremely helpful for a novice like myself. When the house sold (before auction), we were happy with the price as it was at the upper end of the appraised range, and sat in between the high and low extremes the other agents had quoted. I think the settled price was fair for the buyers and for us as vendors, and showed Justin had his finger on the pulse. Justin made the presentation and selling process as easy as I could imagine for the difficult sale of a 40+ year family home, and I appreciate having him in our corner for the process. I'd hate to think how it would have gone had we hurried the sale with someone else. Throughout the selling process, Justin communicated clearly and promptly, was attentive to our needs and worked collaboratively with us.
