Karen undertook the sale of my apartment in Hawthorn, leading in to the Covid period & restrictions. I spoke with many of the leading agents within Hawthorn, and all but Karen, wanted to spend money on furnishings, photos, online marketing, etc. Karen had a different approach, she inspected the residence, then contacted buyers on her database and sold the property in 3-4 weeks with zero marketing or expenditure!! We 'found' Karen long-distance from Adelaide during the COVID plague and included her in a panel of 4 agents from whom we sought expressions of interest in selling our modest 1 bedroom unit in Hawthorn. We noted that she had been last year's top-selling agent in the area and that her firm, Woodards, is an old & long-established group. We were impressed with the description of her services and the costing compared favorably with others. She 'hit the ground running', because she lived close enough to our unit to be able to visit it, despite all the COVID restrictions. Nothing was too much trouble in preparing and presenting the unit for sale, while still observing due economy of outlays. She was tireless in her promotion of the property, in both a preliminary 'off-market' period while restrictions were at their height and then when inspections could once again resume. The property was in her hands for just over 90 days, but much of that time was taken up with preparation during the period of extreme restrictions. Given all the constraints, we believe that she achieved a sale in a very efficient timeframe. We would unhesitatingly recommend Karen to any vendor but we also believe that she dealt very fairly with the buyer, advocating their interests to us, to achieve a 'good' outcome for both parties. Achieving a sale expeditiously was our primary goal and Karen's perseverance secured it.
