I’d like to thank my agent Karen Shepherd from Raine & Horne Newtown for her hard work during the sale of my terrace in Erskineville. Karen’s level of intelligence and her ability to understand my property and tailor a marketing campaign to suit were great attributes. She really pitched my property in the best way to buyers. Throughout the campaign, Karen kept me updated on viewings and provided detailed feedback about the prospective buyers. She didn’t just listen to everything they said, but really drew out information about them and developed a real understanding of their situation and what they wanted. Karen kept me totally 'in-the-loop' and what impressed me most was that when she talked about the prospects, I felt that she was talking about her friends! It was also clear that she put in the hard-yards doing lots of follow-up with the prospects - touching-base with them, keeping them in the loop. More than simply 'listening', she seemed to become friends with everybody. A genuinely personal follow-up which shows that she really did a great job of ‘selling’ not just ‘listing’ my property. I am quite satisfied with the price I received for my property - sold before auction - I am sure it is higher than i would have achieved at auction.
