Sales people get %comms so you can never trust them unless they prove to you they can be trusted. We purchased a house that has water damage and the damage is worse than expected after an invasive inspection. Real estate agents have no requirements to inform buyers of any damage or problems with a house they are selling, so that in itself says a lot about any respect towards the agent and buyer. Agents UP the price too costing the buyer more money, it’s a greedy world. I was told things that I’m not sure were true but as mentioned, you cannot trust people who see you as their bread n butter. Agents know about houses before they sell them and hide things that they don’t want you to know, so how can you really be happy about that. Karl was at least punctual, he did communicate and reply promptly, he did what he needed to get the sale. That should be expected anyway. Our experience has not been good and I was also in hospital and never offered more time to do what we needed in order to know about the full extent of the water damage. We were rushed. Our experience in buying the house hasn’t been good from anyone really. That is why I say you cannot trust anyone.
