Katrina is so knowledgable with the gold coast market. She sold my unit in just less than 2 days from the first day I approached her to get initial quote etc. I still couldn't believe she rang second day in the morning and told me she found a buyer with the offer price that higher than my expection. I had previously had my apartment on the market for some time with another agent and was told to lessen the price expectations that had been given to me and to accept a much reduced price. I happened to have Harcourt's number from when I considered selling a few years ago and thought I'd check with them to see what the market was now like. Katrina Keegan rang me back and she strongly suggested that I should not take the offer that was being forced upon me by my then agent. She was as insistent that she could get a much higher price as the other agent was that the offer was as good as it was going to get. In the end, I took a punt that she was as good as her word so I arranged to change agents. She was very professional and ethical in her dealings with me and insisted that she would not look into my property until I had formally changed agents. This shows how persuasive this woman is - that I was prepared to reject the "best offer I would get" in lieu of starting the whole process again. Katrina and her team immediately got to work providing much more professional photographs of the unit and being much more pro-active in it's sale. She widely consulted her extensive database of prospective buyers and willingly took on the challenge of arranging visits around short stay occupants. Keeping me well-informed at all times with detailed feedback from inspections, she reassured me that she knew the market and that she was right about the price I should expect. She was true to her word. Within 6 weeks, she had a firm offer on the table that was $15,000 higher than the previous "best" offer. Very importantly, the effort Katrina put into the sale belied the fact that the apartment was at the lower end of the real estate spectrum on the Gold Coast - selling for $285,000 up from $270,000. She shows the same level of commitment to all her clients. All in all, I couldn't be happier that I engaged Katrina Keegan to undertake the sale of my apartment.
