Kelly was very good at setting our price expectations, attracting potential buyers and then going above and beyond to ensure that the auction was a success. He even organised a coffee truck for the auction and every potential buyer placed a bid. I felt he did his best to get as many potential buyers as possible to the auction.

Kelly brought to the table an in depth analysis of the market along with his many years of exprience and a smile. At all times he acted with discretion and integrity. His counsel, while not always being what I might have wanted to hear, was always based in fact and fair. His support was solid, his response to calls was speedy and his list of resources and tradespeople provided excellent outcomes at very competitive prices.

We bought our first house from Kelly. This should be a momentous and exciting occasion for us. Instead I feel compelled to leave this review. Kelly didn't show up for the initial inspection. After the purchase, Upstate effectively ghosted us, did not arrange a pre-settlement inspection, did not arrange key exchange, nothing. Disgraceful service for the most important purchase of our life from a supposed "Award Winning Agent". I would never normally review an agent, but I'm so disgusted and disappointed I felt I had to. After contacting the directors of the company, we still have no response on our concerns. I recommend choosing a different agent if you are selling your property, there are plenty of other options.

Didn't show up to agreed inspection times. Scuffed floor through other inspections and verbally agreed to repair it then denied all responsibility when we followed up. Lied about vendor expectations once we had secured property all because we didn't use Upstate for property management. 0 after-sales care or support from him or team - didn't even set-up a pre-settlement inspection with us. After we provided a clear and reasonable email to the agent and Directors of the business raising our concerns, they were too busy or perhaps didn't care enough to provide a response. Shows that all they care about is Number 1. For an agency that actively markets 'a new way', they're using very 'old way' tactics. Nowhere near living their marketed approach, especially around 'sharpened skillset'. They need to go back to the basics before they can be sharp on anything. Would recommend any agent on the Northern Beaches above Upstate. If the only agency available is Upstate, seek agent outside Beaches.

We would highly recommended Kelly for selling and buying your property. We had difficult circumstances with COVID but Kelly helped us navigate us through it all so smoothly.
