Bought the property from this agent. Lie and misrepresented to us. All air conditioning was broken and he said it's working. When it becomes unconditional seller has to send an electrician to install a safety switch as per Queensland legislation and agreement with us, and that licensed electrician sends us a report t. It's clearly said all Air conditioning is broken! The owner and Agent know that but hide from us. It was a video call inspection from another state. We asked him if the air conditioning was working or not, and he said 2 were working but the lounge room had a remote control issue. Based on his conversation we believe that it was working. Later we found from the report that all 3 were faulty. We asked the agent why misrepresented to us. He did not answer. In the advertising real estate.com, it's also clearly said that there are 3 air conditioners in the home. The next day we received a call from his principal Andrew, he apologized for that and offered us $2500 ( 50%) of the total cost of 5234 because of their mistakes. We didn't accept that offer and asked for full payment. However, the next day property became unconditional then Andrew flipped and said they even not contribute 50%. And also said that they had informed us regarding broken air conditions during the inspection. luckily we had a conversation recording with an agent, when I spoke to him, he replied that QLD court not going to accept the conversation because we didn't inform before recording. Now $5234 costing me to fix because there was lying. From this dramatic experience with Guardian Real Estate Mackay, it is clear that they are not honest and transparent. There is no morality or ethics in their conduct. They are desperate and will misrepresent to the buyer and the seller to achieve their financial benefits. We decided to take this matter to the public, a fair trading and court so that other people become careful from this agent.
