Kosta promised from the outset that he would look after us and he did exactly that. He went over and above to get our house on the market within a week from when we gave him the green light. He then went on to sell our house within days, for a price we were very happy with. Kosta always responded to our messages within minutes and never missed a phone call. I am not one to normally give a review on transactions such as land or motor vehicle sales. I have a good deal of experience in formulating performance review systems in organisational structures, and from that deduced that quick reviews such as these do not have a great deal to add to the transaction. Except of course where the view is one of exceptionally good or bad performance! Unfortunately my personal impression of Kosta Apostolidis’s performance in my buying of this property sits at the bad end of the spectrum. On the initial inspection of the property he was quite content to let me roam through the property without adding any additional information to what was visibly available. He even had to go outside the house and check what type of hot water system was installed when asked. Throughout my visits I felt pressured to hurry up and finish looking. Keep in mind I was about to spend the most money on an item than ever before in my life. About a week after the deposit was made I got a text message regarding an emailed review request from Ratemyagent. I quote “I would greatly appreciate it if u could kindly write me a nice short review, lie if u have to”. I found this to be most unprofessional. Sadly it has to reflect on professionalism in this agency. In the final days before settlement I asked for a visit to do a final pre-settlement inspection. The response “ill see you there at 3pm …….for your final 15 minute walk thru inspection.” The previous owners were still moving their possessions out up to that time, so 15 minutes was totally inappropriate for such an inspection. So I ended up with a house with several issues which needed sorting at my expense, such as malfunctioning alarm system which caused neighbourhood annoyance when I accessed the property on settlement. All in all an unpleasant experience for me. I certainly would never again contemplate a property being handled by this agent or for that matter, the employing agency.
Throughout the sale process of our new property Kosta kept us well informed and was always professional with us.
