It was clear from our first meeting with Kristy that she knows the area backwards. We had met her at some open homes in the area, and were impressed by her ability to tease out and actually understand buyers' needs, rather than just sell the house where she happened to have signboards out that day. That approach resonated with us, it being much more about getting a great outcome for all parties than the traditional hard-sell that can so easily turn buyers off.
Kristy's book gives a comprehensive sense of her approach to sales. It squared well with our understanding of what people-centred sales should look like. Pleasingly, the philosophy and tone of her book proved to accurately reflect our experience working with her.
For us as vendors, Kristy asked all the right questions to be in a position to offer solid, property-specific, guidance on how to prepare for market. She worked damn hard to recommend and coordinate the right people to give the place the right TLC: enough to bring the cosmetics up to a solid sale-ready standard. We particularly liked that if she didn't have an answer to a question, she was prepared to say so rather than create fiction.
