Kurt originally gave us an impressive price saying it will sell within a week! The sale of this property needed to be prompt as the funds were required to secure the owners place in the AGED CARE FACILITY of choice. Kurt did not investigate the property and fully understand its condition. His initial price was nowhere near the price achieved…..over $50,000 difference….. on a final sale price of only $365,000 this is truly sad!! But more distressing was his estimate of the time to sell. The big issue was that the sale dragged on for weeks and weeks during which time the aged owner lost his place at the AGED CARE FACILITY of choice and now has to reside in a lesser facility with greater travel distances for those that visit him. Very sad and very unprofessional in terms of the original pricing, time to sell estimation and a full understanding of the market and the work required to meet the price originally given. Yes the final commission charged by Kurt was reduced….as it should have been. My opinion is that NO commission should have been paid at all as the overall result cost the owner too dearly. A very bitter result indeed.

Once we signed, he handled everything and the sale went very smoothly without us having to do anything at all. Kurt gave an appraisal that was around our estimate, explained the process, legal responsibilities, commissions and recommended a competitive legal establishment, without confusing industry jargon, kept us informed throughout the sale process with plane English communication, making himself available for meetings over coffee. His personable approach and local area knowledge instilled confidence, sale and settlement complete, targets made at our initial meeting without any complications, I would seek his services again if I had the need.
