Kurt loves a good chat and sometimes it’s hard to gauge where he’s going with it, but when it came down to the pointy end he respected and supported my buyers’ wishes. He went above and beyond for his vendor spending hours and days helping her to clear out her home even in the gruelling heat.
Kurt has been easy to talk to and a very willing helper in clearing unwanted items. Especially thankful for clearing the garbage which was a HUGE job.

Some years back I was looking for an investment property, and one potential property in East Maitland was being sold through Kurt. I found Kurt to be very professional, with none of the common ‘hard sell’ tactics used by some agents. After purchasing a ‘renovators dream’ in Mayfield with a view to occupy, I contacted Kurt to appraise my current property in Telarah. Again, I found Kurt to be very professional, and although the property was on the lower end of the market and some time away from being listed, Kurt was clearly working on sale strategies in his head from the first visit. I didn’t even bother to contact another agent for a second opinion - I knew Kurt was the agent for me. The renovation on Mayfield was finally complete 4 years after purchase, and all the while Kurt remained in contact and continued to offer advice regarding sale strategies and pricing, all without any paperwork or contract between us. Come sale time, Kurt followed through as per agreed strategies and the property sold promptly and just $2k below asking. There were some delays after we accepted the purchasers’ offer to exchange, and during this time Kurt continued to market the property in case the purchasers pulled out. In all honesty, I don’t believe I could be any happier with the sale of my property. I could not recommend Kurt Rothwell more highly. 5 Gold Stars!
