Our Simpson's Bay (Bruny Island) purchase was a very big moment for our family. It's a special property, so we are very excited to make our home here after decades of urban living. Understanding a property like this, and then undertaking the process to becoming its next stewards ('ownership' is such a dodgy concept!), was always going to need patience and care. From the moment we enquired over the Christmas break (and just prior to a family holiday on the Tassie east coast), when I assured Laureen that if we were going to inspect, it would not be as tyre kickers :-), we felt well cared for and considered. We understand that real estate agents walk a fine line between 2 parties; still, we always felt well and appropriately represented throughout the process.
