Lees' made the whole process hassle free, in what was a very difficult situation. Lees was respectful to both parties and took care of any problems that arose. He sold the house quickly and at the asking price. His professionalism throughout the process is commendable. His understanding of the housing market and settlement process allowed me to carry on without any concerns. He took care of everything. Lee’s talked me down to a price well below what I wanted, as offers over a certain price would get people talking to him and he would talk them up to a price closer to what I required with his industry expertise. As his fees are well above the industry standard, I asked him if we could negotiate his fee depending on the price he obtained, his reply was to wait and see when we got an offer. When the offer came back and was only $1000 over the base price, he said that was the best deal he could negotiate and the buyer would look at another property and withdraw his offer if I didn’t take it. He also said that there wasn’t much chance of another offer, so I felt pressured to take it. I accepted the offer, but when I asked to negotiate his fee, as he had only had 3 home opens which worked out to be $6500 per open he flatly refused to negotiate, even though he had indicated we could negotiate when an offer came in. I will never use Barr and Standley again and will never use Lees again as his business ethics in my opinion are more suited to being a used car salesmen.

I have sold two rental properties though Lees and in both cases the properties were a bit "tired". Lees energetically and enthusiastically organised tradesman and paperwork to get tasks done quickly before settlement. He has good contacts and can get things done without fuss. Also he gives an honest and realistic assessment rather than telling you what you want to hear, which saves wasted time on the market.
