As a fellow real estate professional, I had hoped for a higher level of service and communication from Leigh Choo at Perth One. While our home did eventually sell, the overall experience left us quite disappointed. We interviewed a number of agents before selecting Leigh, so the decisions was not taken lightly From the beginning, we were told the house would sell quickly and likely wouldn’t require more than one home open — unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. It took several weeks and multiple opens to find the right buyer, which in the current market conditions is unusual, but better communication and feedback from each open home would have made the process far less stressful. Despite asking for clearer updates, this slowly improved over time. Initial feedback was consistently "loved the house" - but our question was why are there no offers. We consistently presented the home in a “home open ready” condition, which should have made the process smoother. However, poor communication around one weekend open in particular caused unnecessary stress. Additionally, repeated errors in documents — including misspellings of our names and the property address — were frustrating. The first sale fell through due in part to poorly worded clauses in the contract. Thankfully, things worked out in the end for both us and the buyers, but more care upfront could have prevented that situation. There was also no confirmation or follow-up on settlement day, and no acknowledgment of our business afterward. A post-settlement email with information for the buyers went unanswered. While we’re glad the sale eventually went through, the lack of transparency and communication throughout the process made this a more difficult experience than it needed to be.
