Leigh was the agent we purchased our home from, and we didn’t hesitate in asking her to sell it again. She has exceptional local knowledge of the area, having lived and raised her own family in Hendra/Clayfield. She didn’t hesitate in assisting with meeting trades prior to launch and was happy to drop in to meet us and discuss certain elements of the house preparation, at the drop of a hat. She brought with her wonderful contacts within staging, glass cleaning, house cleaners and the like, well priced and professional operators that were needed to prep the home. Leigh has a knack for reading people and analysing buyers to provided rounded feedback daily during the campaign. Her knowledge of old Qlder homes assisted greatly when speaking with interstate buyers, less familiar with the construction of the heritage builds. When it came time to sell our home of almost 26 years, family members and a friend suggested we contact Leigh Kortlang, of Ray White, Ascot, and not for one moment were we disappointed with our choice. Leigh has a good appreciation of the suburb and the market, and made a number of excellent suggestions to guide our preparation of the property for sale; for example, Leigh suggested we use Complete Property Styling, who were very easy to work with, and we received excellent feedback about the presentation of our property. Leigh also suggested we put the property to auction after a short and intense marketing campaign. We would not have considered selling via auction, however there were a number of bidders at the auction; everything went smoothly on auction day due to the strong team support for Leigh and Ainslea (her PA), from the team at Ray White Ascot, and we were very happy with the results. Leigh is warm, calm, considered, personable and professional. We felt we could trust Leigh, and she kept us well informed, and represented our interests all through the process. When there was an unexpected leak from the 18 month old solar hot water system just a few days prior to settlement, Leigh worked closely with us, and with the buyers, to ensure everyone was being kept informed, and in agreement with, the steps being taken to remedy this unfortunate situation.
