We especially felt he was very thorough in the final pre-sale viewing of the house, checking all electrical outlet, and having the seller go through all the workings of the Air, Solar, Reticulation system etc. This made a process we were expecting to be stressful very relaxed. Very helpful and professional, highly recommended. However, as the sellers representative, I did feel that at times we were left languishing in favour of the buyers demands. We were impacted by Covid 19 with 3 out 4 positives, and looked to activate the REIWA Covid clause to gain a time extension on settlement to find a place to rent, only to come to loggerheads with a difficult buyer who wouldn’t accept. Leigh took a back seat to let it unfold. In a tough rental market we struggled to move out and find a place in time. Leigh also tried to assist in finding a place, very appreciative of his efforts. We had little time to move, a very difficult week for us, in the end a bitter sweet experience, especially since we did discover later the buyer always had additional time to move out of their rental. Additionally it is always worth taking the extra time to do a thorough check of electrical items to confirm what’s working what isn’t, the sale was rushed through, and we got caught on a few items. Leigh also provided a congratulatory gift, a nice touch.

I think one of the things that stood out for me most about Leigh was his up front leg work. I have been in and out of discussions with him over more than 2 years, making decisions on property to sell, keep, upgrade, don't upgrade...etc. So I have been extremely taxing on his time with no clear opportunity of a sale for him. However, Leigh would take time out to explain the market do calculations and justification to help me make my decisions which I found lacking in other agents if there wasn't the clear evidence of a sale, little interest was shown. From the sale, the process ran very smoothly with leigh at the helm. I would recommend him any day.
