I was very impressed with Leon's handling of this sale. The property was used as a rental and needed updating. Leon arranged the tradesman to undertake this task as well as organising the hire of appropriate furniture. As an example, when I suggested that the kitchen floor covering also be replaced he recommended to leave it as it is. He advised that, for the market we were focussing on, any purchaser would undertake this themselves to their own style. This turned out to be the correct advice. While the auction turnout and result was disappointing (even though the auction had been extensively advertised), the sale price was now determined to be the reserve and Leon advised this would widen the scope of prospective purchasers once the price was set. Again, this turned out to be good advice as Leon and Ben negotiated a sale with 2-3 prospective buyers and the property was sold within 24-48 hours after the auction at a price higher than the new selling price. I found Leon to be very engaging, had excellent knowledge of the market, open with his advice and gave excellent service and can highly recommend him as an agent.

In 2011 I received a brochure from Leon and I replied by phone to say I was not interested in selling at that time and that I did not want to be chased but I would be in contact if and when I wanted to sell. He respected this and only sent a Christmas card. I rang and thanked him for the card. I then contacted him in 2015 to say I was ready to sell and on his visit to see him I found him very forthright.
