I recently became interested in purchasing a villa property for rental purposes. I had had no personal experience in buying one before. I plucked up courage to ring Lisa and being an extremely busy person arranged to view it at half an hour's notice, to which she complied! Was I impressed! I revealed my intention of wanting a property but did not give any opinion. The very next day Licia rang to ask what my thoughts were. I told her I had to bring my husband to view it. I would like to think that Lisa had an intuition that we both liked the house and suggested it was the right time to put an offer, to which we agreed. That same evening she rang to inform the price was not acceptable and if we really wanted the house, we would have to put the price up to a. price which she suggested. She would immediately bring the re-signed contract to the seller to potentially seal the offer. Meanwhile, I had urgent personal commitments to attend, and although we agreed to up our offer I had inadvertently forgotten to communicate with Licia, thinking a day later would not make any difference. It was only the evening after on my way home that I decided to pass by the villa. To my surprise I saw Licia's car on the driveway! She was waiting for another potential buyer to view the house. Licia had patiently waited for my call but somehow my urgent commitments had taken my mind off the property which we truly liked. I however had to contend that it was my fault for not even ringing her to inform her of our intention to offer a higher price. She was now committed to open the house to this "new" potential buyer. Of course, I spent a restless night, regretting not having been more proactive in securing the deal. Well, it all eventually ended well for us when Licia rang the next morning to say that she had gone to the Seller to present the "new" contender's offer, but he had decided on ours. Thanks Licia for your patience, tenacity, professionalism and vocation!!
