Lisa and her team were great at pricing accurately to achieve a prompt sale while maximising return. She is very knowledgeable of the suburb and local surrounds. Lisa kept us full informed through the selling process and regularly updated interest and progress.
I had the pleasure of hiring Lisa to sell our family home. From the outset she communicated regularly, openly and honestly. She was clearly invested in loooing after our best interests and ensured that we had all the information we needed in order to best present our house. Lisa was hand to suggest what actions we needed to take to make the home more desirable, drive up the asking price and then what timeframe best suited the current market. All this culminated in our home selling prior to its first scheduled home open. This was possible as lisa was exceptionally well organised and opened our home a mere day after hitting the market to show through potential buyers who had shown interest. Our home was placed under offer the next day, with multiple offers presented by lisa within 24 hours of receipt. My advice, if you want an agent that will look after your interests and communicate honestly, openly and regularly; then the choice of lisa and the team at GLC Residential is a no brainer.
It started with an open house on a Sunday where I was told by Lisa to "view open houses on the days listed as agents leave their family and sacrifice their weekend times to do open homes". This commentary immediately made me feel Lisa is just a sales person who is not vested in any interest of her client or her buyers. I had issues prior to settlement, the building and pest inspection report came back with major structural damages and upon the last inspection it was identified works not being carried out per invoices submitted by the seller conveyancer. The REIWA contract was clearly articulating buyers rights of final inspection post works carried out per the contract. This was refused several times and I was even threatened with "having contacts at REIWA board". The settlement happened regardless without final inspection. I'm yet to write to the REIWA and AIC for further feedback. All in all, Lisa should be aware today's buyer is tomorrow's seller and with this I hope my review made an impact and that GLC takes my feedback and improves on their buyer interaction. For now this is my take on and as much as I support local and small business, I cant say that GLC made my buying journey an exciting one.
House went up for sale on the turn around of the rates increase and things slowed down. I feel that the dedication given to assist me in selling my home won out in the end. Thank you.
