Lisa came to my house to give me an appraisal and handed me an information pack on my property. First I noticed the picture of the home(she searched) was not even mine at 25 Rossini Street Burpengary. Lisa was pretty quick to get me to sign a sole agency agreement. When it came to my first open, there were not enough brochures to hand out as there were people lined up the street waiting to view my property. Really there should have been another agent in the home to assist buyers with enquires and help manage the crowd. In the coming days after the first open home negotiations started with one buyer. I felt pressured into taking their offer as Lisa kept saying, there is only one buyer & we don’t want to lose them. Another reasoning Lisa used was, it doesn’t look good if a house doesn’t sell in the first two weeks. Once an agreement was made on my property it took three days to get contracts formally signed, with another weekend fast approaching, I was worried my house was for sale no plans for another Saturday open booked in. It became clear with over 100 couples through the home at the Saturday and Monday opens, Lisa didn’t want to work hard to sell my property.
