Lorna impressed us from the minute we met her when she arrived at our house for a valuation with her homework already done. She had already researched the area and had preprepared a binder with all the sales histories and trends for our area. Lorna was so friendly, and had this thing about her where you feel like you’ve known her for years, and that we could chat over a cup of tea for hours. This was in stark contrast to another agent who took 10 days to return my 3 phone calls to arrange a valuation, was late to the appointment and then spent 5 minutes at the house before writing a number on a sticky note. From the get go, Lorna went in all guns blazing. Within 10 days, we had done 2 home opens and several private viewings which led to an offer. Unfortunately our buyer’s finance fell through which was devastating news however Lorna reassured us that there would be another offer in no time. Once again she went in all guns blazing contacting previous prospective buyers and held another home open. She also organised further private viewings which resulted in another offer, $10K more than the previous! This was all within 6 days of the previous offer falling through. Lorna has kept us informed and communicated with us all the way through, and nothing was ever too much of a hassle. I know she treated our buyer with the same service, answering any questions and concerns, arranging multiple viewings and communicating promptly and honestly throughout the whole process. I’m sure that if it weren’t for Lorna’s open communication and reassurance to the buyer, the offer may not have come to fruition. Overall we were extremely impressed with Lorna and would certainly recommend her to anyone looking to sell their property. What a gem!!
