First interaction with Louie — the night before first contact, I was browsing listings into the late hours on Friday evening; it’s been two months of back to back viewings, interests, and 40 strata reports with over 32 contacts with agents. A listing caught my interest in an area I did t consider before, and ordered and reviewed a strata report. This strata was healthy, and my intention was to go to the viewing on the Saturday (next day). He calls me up in the morning, based on my purchase of the strata report as a lead, and I had to pass the inspection because I injured myself in the morning but expressed my interest. He said we can talk on Tuesday. On Tuesday, we organize to inspect for the Wednesday morning. Inspection comes around and the unit is exactly what I was anticipating. I was transparent that I didn’t do a deep dive on researching the pricing in the general area as I was only starting to look in the area out of interest from that night, and proposed a potential number. He kindly suggested I should do my research instead of the typical scorn if I was slightly off. I promised to review later that morning, and proposed a revised number with as little conditions on the offer. It wasn’t too far off from my initial number. He conversed with the vendor, and although what he says could be describe as hearsay, he also set expectations with the vendor with other offers from the past and highlighted the offer package. As a result of that consultation, my offer was accepted. From acceptance to getting the contracts exchanged, less than 24 hours due to his persistence and determination. Challenges of electronic file sizes were the thorn, and it probably could have been faster! I found his values aligned well with mine as the purchaser - he wants to deals to be a win-win with balancing everybody’s requirements and constraints. His attitude was always to treat everyone with respect. TLDR - I dealt with a salesperson, not a conman
Two years ago I brought the unit from Louie in Campsite, and requested services both selling and renting. Now Louie is a very friendly and knowledgeable agent in his property profession, I am very pleased to have him helping me for my unit.
