I was thinking of selling my unit, but hadn't taken any positive steps to do so. Luke approached me offering to sell the unit. He had just sold the adjoining unit and said he had a strong pool of potential buys. We made an agreement for him to have 1 month to see if he could sell it for an agreed price. Sure enough, he had a contract on it in around 2 weeks. The sale has subsequently settled. Luke provided an excellent service. He did whatever he said he would do. Luke ask me to reduce the sale price he advised after a week on the market. Property when on the market at the start of Covid. Only one offer on the property after 3 months. Older style unit but renovated and in great condition/ local. I feel the sale was achieved predominantly but me agreeing to a reduced price and not the effects of the agent. On the positive side he did reduce the commission due to reduced sales price.
