Luke Penny

If I had to choose a word to describe Luke, it would be conscientious. If I had a two words to play with, they would be hard and working, used together, in that order. I was impressed at how quickly things were done when we spoke with Luke about the sale of our father's house in Mitcham. There was plenty of communication from Luke to ensure that we were kept abreast of the process and he consulted us on all his plans for the sale of the house. There were numerous 'open house' sessions (even on Sundays) to give prospective buyers ample opportunity to view the property. Sadly for us, the real estate market in December 2018 appears to be cooling down and this was reflected in the lack of bidders at the auction, when the propery was passed in. Not to be deterred, Luke contacted all the prospective buyers he had dealt with and in a few days the deal was done for what we think was a good price in difficult times. As far as I can see his only failings are the fact that he is ridiculously tall and doesn't appear to drink coffee, neither of which seem to have an effect on his abilities as a property consultant, so this sentence is probably pointless.

Luke communicated appropriately and quickly (especially in view of us being overseas at the time the property was listed for sale). Sometimes the communication was not 100% clear, however, as demonstrated by Luke advising us that the purchasers wanted to rent the property prior to settlement, whereas in actual fact the purchasers wanted to make the property available for the general rental market.

We bought a property through Luke recently and were impressed with his professionalism and dedication. He communicated well between the vendor and us, and got all the documentation to be signed in a timely manner.

Luke applied himself promptly to finding a new buyer for our property in Kumala Rd. Bayswater after an earlier COS fell through due to the buyer failing to get finance. Both my son Brendon ,who is vendor for the adjoining unit being sold concurrently ,and I are pleased with the priority Luke gave to finding a new buyer who can settle on acceptable terms,

Selling my mothers house was not a good time for us personally but working with Luke made the experience smooth and stress free. From the initial interview he presented the selling procedure clearly openly and with realistic expectations. We were kept informed through the whole process and achieved a result we were very happy with.
